Bordering On Magnificent PURPOSE

I was on my hands and knees at the "Day Job" today.

I was squatting down and bending over repeatedly there.

I put a few miles on my feet today there.

I reached over and under racks and racks of clothes
to retrieve pieces that were tossed here and there.

I lifted arm-fulls of "inside-out" clothing
and empty hangers
off of the floor
and off of the chairs in the fitting rooms today.

AND. . . .
I LOVED IT !

No. Not really.

I have had friends over the years who LOVE to clean and organize.

I understand their THRILL at seeing their skills
make a difference
in their immediate environment.

To nurture others
by beautifying their space
by creating cleanliness and order
is a blessing which some people
are naturally gifted at giving.

B U T. . .

Who is it
that has the skill set or "giftedness"
for constantly picking up things
that others have left behind
or thrown on the floor?

I want to meet these people.

I mean,
even the mom of a 2 year old
is in the process of trying to teach the child
that...there is a day coming where they will stop pooping in their pants
and that mommy (and or daddy) at that point
will no longer be needing to change their poopie diapers.

They are learning that it is good
to be a big boy or big girl
and are becoming aware
that a toilet is a better place to dump stuff
instead of the space that they carry around with them.
They are becoming aware that others around them
have feelings and noses too.

I did not enjoy the part of the "Day-Job" today
where I felt frustrated
that everything my co-workers and I did
was being trashed
every moment of the entire day.

I did not enjoy
seeing clothing that someone else might have been saving and hoping for
and just waiting and wanting to have and appreciate,
being discarded and trashed by others.

That part of my day to day life is extreemly painful and confusing.

How do we get to the point of being so busy that we lose our humanity?

Wouldn't it be far better for us all to go naked?

Wouldn't we all be on more even footing?
For Two Days....
LET'S ALL
ROCK THE SPACE WE'RE IN
by taking our time
and mindfully deciding what we need,
and Looking for that item.

For Two Days....
Let's all set aside something UNIMPORTANT that we do
to make the time
to CREATE a calm and mindful shopping experience
for the things that we may truly need.

Maybe a plain black dress or skirt.
ONE good pair of jeans.
A white shirt.
One tighter fitting top. Preferably a v-neck or a wrap top,
and a really cute fitting t-shirt.

Lastly...ONE really great necklace and One pair of earrings.

NOTICE THAT "REALLY GREAT" does NOT mean EXPENSIVE.

It means YOU LIKE IT
and FEEL GREAT PUTTING IT ON
and LIVING IN IT.

BY THE WAY. . .

The part of the day I LOVED...
was the PEOPLE!!!!!

Those of you who shared a moment of your day
to connect with us and each other
as HUMAN BEINGS.

YOU
brought a little bit of "Mayberry"
or "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood" to the "Day-Job" today.

I LOVE TO HELP YOU AND MAKE YOUR DAY

YOU ARE WHY I GET UP AND GO TO THE "DAY_JOB"
Believe me...It's NOT the money.
It IS the time I get to spend sharing life with YOU!

I know what MY PURPOSE is
on this planet,
and in this life time journey.

What is YOUR PURPOSE????
Are you working at living it?
Slow down for 33 minutes, or so TODAY,
and 17 minutes (or so) TOMORROW...
and think about WHY you are here.

Love and Peace of Mind,
Delight and Clarity of Purpose,
to you and those you love,
Joy
